Many people don’t realize it but your mailbox says something about you and your style. Since they come with the house, many people overlook them but since the mailbox is visible to every neighbor and passer-by it’s important to keep it looking sturdy, clean, and stylish. Here are five mailbox designs that will accentuate your curb appeal and take your mailbox from drab to fab.
- Classic – The scrollwork bracket of the classic design adds a little extra touch of class to this affordable model. One of the most popular options, the classic is a must for anyone looking to upgrade their mailbox on a budget.
- Weddington – For a little more money, you may consider the Weddington. With its extremely sturdy base and decorative post, the top-mount Weddington is a great step-up from the Classic.
- St. Cathryn – For something truly unique, consider the St. Cathryn. This mailbox is side mounted to give it a truly aristocratic look. It comes attached to a smooth, elegant base that gets the job done and doesn’t detract from the beauty of the mailbox itself.
- Sterling – The extra large design of the Sterling makes it the best choice for a large family or those who receive bulky mail items like magazines, catalogs and small packages. The number plate is incorporated into the bracket of the Sterling giving it a regal and elegant look.
- Pathway Deluxe – Perfect for a Victorian style home, the Pathway Deluxe is a front-mounted box that sits atop a decorative column base and scrollwork bracket. Capped off with a ball top, the Pathway Deluxe is not just for Victorian homes but will accentuate one perfectly.
No matter what mailbox you choose make sure that it’s the one you want. Not only is a mailbox there to serve a purpose, it can also accentuate the style of your home and show off your sense of style. After all, what’s curb appeal without the appeal?

Your mailbox is the first thing someone sees when looking at your house. I also believe that the your mailbox should reflect the aesthetic of your home and it is in fact extension of your home. It’s important not to over look the smaller things in term of decorating. I think there is nothing worse than a grubby mailbox outside a beautiful home. I’m glad I’m not alone.
