Home for the Holidays: Preparing Your Home for a Stress-Free Thanksgiving
If your house is anything like mine, the only things that remain from Halloween are the fake cobwebs in the corner and the rock-hard Mary Janes at the bottom of the candy bowl. It’s when all the good candy is gone that I start to think about the end of one fall holiday and start gearing up for the start of another: Thanksgiving!
In case you didn’t know, this year Thanksgiving is on November 24th. That means only 3 short weeks to mentally prepare myself for my family and physically clean up my house and make it look extra-festive for the occasion. Not to mention get a head start on the menu because there is about to be an obscene amount of delicious food in my house. If it’s your turn to host the festivities this year, start preparing now for a stress-free holiday.

Creepy Halloween Decorations: DIY
October is my favorite month. You know why? HALLOWEEN! It’s only the best holiday ever. You can’t dress up like a zombie and pretend to eat your sister’s brain on Christmas. You can’t gorge yourself on candy you took from strangers on Labor Day. You certainly can’t stroll into work on Valentine’s Day in full pirate garb, parrot included. But on Halloween you can! I mean, I guess technically you could do all of these things on these other holidays, but you would get a lot of weird looks. Anyway, I am all about the spirit of Halloween and I intend to live it up. The first order of business is to decorate my house so everybody knows that I am fully invested in the Halloween fun. I’m talking graveyards, black cats, pumpkins, the works. A lot of my favorite project ideas came from these websites and talented bloggers. So put on Hocus Pocus and get ready for some serious Halloween DIY crafting. Check it out!
