6 Ways to Make Your Bathroom Chic on a Budget

6 Ways to Make Your Bathroom Chic on a Budget

Everyone wants their house to look great. That’s a given. Making sure you get the look you want and sticking to your budget is another issue. It might take some creativity, but you can get the look you want for the price you need.

Shower Curtain
Depending on the size of your bathroom, a new shower curtain can change the look and feel in an instant. If you want to make your curtain pop, choose a bold color and accessories your bathroom with neutral colors.

Update the Paint
You can be surprised what a fresh coat of paint can do to any room, not just the bathroom. Updating with a strong accent color can also make the room pop. Not sure what will look the best? Take some paint swatches home so you can see how the color will look in your room and lighting.

Shelving
Long gone are the days of bulky, unstylish storage options. Add a shelf to your bathroom and showcase your lovely towels. You can also add pictures and plants if you would rather. Get creative and stick with your design theme.

New Sink
Adding a new sink is easier than you think, and can be done easily yourself. No matter if you have double bathroom vanities or a single vanity, changing out the sink is not going to cause a problem doing it yourself. Changing up the look and feel of your vanity can transform your bathroom into a completely new look. If you don’t want to change out your entire sink, a new faucet can do the same thing.

New Accent Rug
Just like a new shower curtain can produce a wow effect for cheap, so can a new rug. Again, try a pop of color with the rug and leave the other accessories a neutral color. Adding too many vibrant colors in one room (especially if your bathroom is small) can make the space look over crowded and unappealing to the eye.

Unique Mirrors
Many bathrooms have the same square looking mirrors. Instead, opt for an oblong shaped mirror. Another option is a mirror with simple embellishments. This adds a quick design element and is easy on your bank account—a win, win.

We recently move to a new place that is smaller in size compared to our old home, as it is cheaper to maintain. However, because of the limited budget that we have, we could not spend too much on the renovation but rather have to spend our money wisely on the design. Thus, we went for a minimalist theme with white walls and as much as possible, less clutter of furniture. We made some areas our priorities like the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. We had storage spaces that were concealed by mirrors or these camouflage with the walls. Anyway, it is good to read some ideas here about the bathroom. My partner was the one who stumbled upon this article, and she already started planning for a minimalist design for the said space.
