5 Reasons Why Burglar Alarm Companies Hate Hearing about SimpliSafe

Have you ever known someone who was a victim of a home burglary? If yes, then you are familiar with the grief and anguish they have experienced. Not only do you see them have to deal with the shock and grief of it all, but questions start to arise in your own head. The most common question being, could this happen to me? In most cases, yes!

Homes now days are filled more than ever with high value items such as electronics, jewelry, and miscellaneous items. In order to sufficiently protect your family and home from a burglar it is imperative that you have a wireless home security system installed in your home.

Which home security system should you go with?

There are a lot of choices when it comes to picking a burglar alarm for your home. However, picking the one that fits your budget and needs may be another story in itself.  A lot of the traditional alarm companies that you see out there have been in business so long they have become complacent in their prices and practices.

Traditional alarm companies usually require you to sign into a long-term contract for 3 years, with a roll-over provision.  A roll-over provision is where if you don’t contact the burglar alarm company in a specific way on a specific date, you are automatically renewed at a super high rate for monthly monitoring for a 1-3 year period moving forward.  These are one of many issues that have been ongoing in the alarm industry up until SimpliSafe emerged onto the scene.

If you like long-term contracts, high monthly monitoring fees, expensive out-dated equipment, and bad customer service then SimpliSafe is not for you!

SimpiSafe’s mission is to help people take control of their safety with security solutions that fit their lifestyle.  The SimpliSafe wireless security system is easy to install and easy to use.  SimpliSafe is installed by adhering wireless sensors around your home or apartment. The sensors will detect intruders and alert you of the potential danger.  If the alarm isn’t turned off, it will sound an 85 decibel alarm in the home, and then wirelessly contacts a professionally staffed emergency dispatch service to alert you and send the police to your location.

Here are 5 reasons why you should choose SimpliSafe over the traditional burglar companies

  1. 1.    DIY Easy Install – No tools required; it’s plug & play. All of your sensors arrive pre-programmed, batteries installed, and adhesive strips ready-mounted, so set up just takes minutes.  Without the need of a professional installer, you can already see the savings.
  2. 2.    No Contracts – SimpliSafe will never make you sign a long-term service contract.  With SimpliSafe, you get the freedom to subscribe to a monitoring service for as long as you want and can cancel at anytime without any termination fees or hassles. Did I also mention that the monitoring charge is only $14.99?
  3. 3.    Professionally Monitored – The system wasn’t only designed as a noise deterrent.  SimpliSafe offers 24/7 UL certified alarm monitoring by a professionally staffed emergency dispatch center.  In the worst case scenario police are dispatched to your home. Live response and emergency dispatch for a fraction of the cost.
  4. 4.    No Phone Line Needed – The built in cellular module instantly connects to our monitoring center which means you can cut out the added expense of land line.  Burglars have become hip in cutting your phone lines in hopes of bypassing you’re your security system. Cellular monitoring = no phone lines to cut!
  5. 5.    Risk Free – The goal is to make your life an easier and a safer one.  If for any reason you are unhappy or unsatisfied with the SimpliSafe product, ship it back within 60 days and you get a 100% refund, no questions asked!  They will even send you the pre-paid return postage label so the shipping costs don’t come out of your own pocket!

SimpliSafe systems start at only around $200 and are fully customizable anytime, meaning you can purchase the components you need now and then expand later as needed. The benefit of purchasing this system upfront is that you own it, which means you take it with you when you move.

In closing, savings can add up quickly when compared to the traditional security companies. When it comes to the best value, SimpliSafe is affordable, making it the smart choice in home security.

In addition to having a good security system there are at least two other things that you should consider for security. It is always good to own a safe and a paper shredder, particularly if you are running a home business where you keep documents containing sensitive personal information. With the increase in identity theft, paper shredding is the most secure and effective way to discard sensitive documents, and a safe can help to protect those documents that you need to keep. Both from thieves and other things, such as fire and weather.

apart from a good home security system you should ensure that your key and locks are a good brand too. double locking locks are good to prevent people leaving through the front door with your goods.
